We are searching for energetic and precise individuals to ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, and then carefully packing them for safe shipment. Your attention to detail is crucial in verifying product codes and quantities to minimize errors. You will work within a structured warehouse setting, utilizing scanning technology and other tools to optimize your performance. Safety is a top priority; you will be required to strictly follow all established procedures and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear mandatory PPE.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs will be required.
- Support overall warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking or packing experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
