As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting pick lists, locating and retrieving products, verifying quantities, and packaging items securely and professionally. Accuracy and speed are key to success in this role, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in excellent condition. You will work within a structured warehouse environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our order fulfillment process. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while strictly adhering to all safety regulations. Regular lifting of inventory will be part of your daily tasks, and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy and product codes.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking and packing area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for picking and packing.
- Contribute to efficient logistics and shipping operations.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to use required PPE.
- Basic math skills.
