We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our facility in Chicago, Illinois. This role is fundamental to our logistics and distribution efforts, involving a range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to preparing them for shipment. You will be an integral part of a team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and safety. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound freight, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store products in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in loading outbound trucks.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Follow all logistics and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency with material handling equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following guidelines.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
