Join our fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment center in Columbus, Ohio, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are seeking reliable individuals to help us process and ship a high volume of orders. This role is critical to our success, ensuring that products are handled with care and sent out promptly to our valued customers. You'll be involved in all aspects of the fulfillment process, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. Our company culture emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick products based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack items carefully into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Process shipments, including applying labels and preparing documentation for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training available).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control procedures, such as cycle counting.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment is beneficial.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of order fulfillment processes and basic logistics.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic are required.
