We are seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our Dallas, Texas distribution center. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Precision, speed, and a commitment to safety are key requirements. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training to ensure a safe working environment. This position demands physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and significant time spent on your feet. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to guide picking processes.
- Ensure picked items match order specifications to maintain accuracy.
- Stage picked orders appropriately for the next stage of fulfillment.
- Maintain organized and clean picking zones.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE .
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage encountered during picking.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the overall logistics operation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
- Willingness to wear and correctly use all required PPE .
- Good time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
