This role is the first step in our supply chain, responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming inventory. You will ensure that goods match purchase orders, identify any damages or discrepancies, and properly stage received items for put-away. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe work environment, requiring strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all incoming shipments from carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or overages against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Generate receiving reports and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or carriers.
- Tag and label incoming inventory as required.
