We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Miami, Florida. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and facility infrastructure. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally to support our logistics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to Safety, and the ability to work independently. You will play a crucial part in minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. We provide a safe working environment, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment meets Safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Stay updated on best practices in warehouse equipment maintenance and logistics support.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as a warehouse technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting and working in various conditions.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment safely and effectively, including required PPE.
