We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and distributing materials to support our operations. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory and timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating material handling equipment and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You'll be working closely with a team of professionals in a fast-paced logistics setting. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Accurately tracking inventory movements.
- Following all safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Performing routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
