You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick items from inventory based on order fulfillment requests.
- Pack orders carefully and securely for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks such as cycle counts.
- Understand and contribute to efficient logistics processes.
- Be prepared to handle tasks involving lifting and moving of goods.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
