We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a versatile role that involves various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics chain. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and store items appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload trucks, using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Participate in general warehouse upkeep and organization.
- Understand and contribute to the overall logistics process.
- Assist with tasks that may require moderate lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Commitment to safety in all warehouse activities.
