Your responsibilities will include performing cycle counts, conducting physical inventories, reconciling stock levels, and maintaining precise inventory records within our system. Responsibilities:
- Execute regular cycle counts and full physical inventory checks.
- Accurately record inventory transactions and update records in the inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying root causes.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient access.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management to potential shortages or surpluses.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items to maintain quality.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist the logistics team with inventory-related queries and support.
- Prepare inventory reports as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Inventory Assistant, or in a similar warehouse role with inventory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a significant advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as needed.
- Understanding of fundamental inventory control principles and warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and consistent use of PPE.
