Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, Illinois! This role is essential to our daily logistics operations, involving a wide range of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely flow of goods through our facility, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick orders using RF scanners or pick sheets with precision.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required (certification opportunities available).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and potentially heavier items.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the entire shift.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is a plus.
