We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Durham, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring that products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Knowledge of and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Team player with good communication skills.
