This role involves a variety of tasks, including moving and organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility. A strong focus on safety, accurate order fulfillment, and teamwork is essential. You will be expected to follow all established procedures, including the correct use of PPE, to maintain a secure and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and move inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick items from storage areas to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, prioritizing safety.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to handle physical demands, including regular lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with PPE and its importance in preventing workplace injuries.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
