We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker for our facility in Nashville, Tennessee! This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This position is fundamental to our Logistics flow, ensuring products are handled with care and efficiency. You will be trained on the proper and safe operation of warehouse equipment and the essential use of PPE . Emphasis is placed on adherence to all company Safety procedures to create a secure work environment. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize materials in designated locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures meticulously.
- Wear and use all required PPE , including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Good understanding of basic warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE .
- Familiarity with Logistics terminology is a plus.
