We are seeking a skilled individual to manage the flow of materials within our facility, ensuring efficiency and safety in all operations. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, sort, and store materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks. This role is critical to our supply chain and Logistics network. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you will be trained on best practices for handling materials and operating machinery, including the mandatory use of PPE . This position requires significant physical capability, including substantial Lifting (up to 75 lbs) and maneuvering of heavy items. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move, sort, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.
- Prepare materials for outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE , including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Excellent physical condition, capable of frequent bending, stooping, and Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must consistently wear and use appropriate PPE .
