Job Summary:
Our Seattle, Washington facility is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is critical for optimizing stock levels, reducing discrepancies, and ensuring that our Logistics operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management software and possess a solid understanding of warehouse operations. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify areas for improvement in inventory accuracy and processes. Ensuring the proper Storage and handling of all goods is paramount. We prioritize Safety in all our operations, and you will be expected to contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. Prior experience in inventory control, preferably within a fast-paced Logistics setting, is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend adjustments.
  • Ensure proper Storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Adhere to all Safety guidelines and promote a Safety-conscious culture.
  • Support Logistics planning by providing accurate inventory data.
  • Proper use of PPE is mandatory.
