This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a wide range of warehouse activities designed to ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires physical activity, including lifting, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately stock incoming merchandise.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning and handling.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
