Key duties include troubleshooting minor equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring all safety systems are functional. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While not solely a physical role, tasks may involve moderate Lifting and working with various tools and equipment. Experience with warehouse machinery, basic electrical or mechanical skills, and a background in maintenance or logistics support is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks).
- Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Ensure all safety equipment and systems are operational.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, utilizing provided PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring equipment availability.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of parts.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
