Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimize inventory processes at our Omaha, Nebraska facility. This critical role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our warehouse stock, directly impacting our logistics operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures, analyzing inventory data, and identifying areas for improvement. Key responsibilities include conducting regular audits, managing discrepancies, and overseeing the flow of goods within the warehouse. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with inventory management systems. While extensive physical labor is not the primary focus, some moderate Lifting may be necessary. Safety is paramount; all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize provided PPE. Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory levels and turnover rates.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory data within the WMS, ensuring accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for inventory management.
  • Monitor stock rotation and product expiration dates.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient logistics flow.
  • Train junior staff on inventory control best practices.
