We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills to manage the flow of goods, coordinate warehouse activities, and ensure efficient operations. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth functioning of our logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Oversee the proper handling and storage of materials to ensure product integrity.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on operational procedures and Safety best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with all standards.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is available and used correctly by all staff.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout and workflow for improved logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, supervision, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and experience implementing Safety initiatives.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Familiarity with required PPE and its critical importance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
