We are seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. This is a hands-on position critical to the efficient functioning of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Understanding and commitment to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
