In this role, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for various stages of the logistics process. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store materials and products in designated locations.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring aisles and exits are clear.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
- Strong understanding of safe material handling practices.
- Capability for frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
