Are you ready for a fast-paced role in the heart of our logistics operations? We're looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our Salt Lake City, Utah team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then securely packaging them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. You will utilize RF scanners and other warehouse equipment, so prior experience is beneficial. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and you will be expected to follow all safety procedures and wear the appropriate PPE at all times. This job involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting. - Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications, using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Package orders efficiently and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before staging for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker or Packer is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents and RF scanner data.
- Capability for consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE in logistics.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
