We have an exciting opening for a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Orlando, Florida! If you have a knack for organization and a commitment to efficiency, this role is for you. You will play a key part in our logistics operations by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include verifying shipment contents, preparing goods for dispatch, maintaining inventory records, and operating warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment. We pride ourselves on a safe and supportive workplace culture. Strict adherence to safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential for this position. This role requires the ability to handle packages of various sizes and weights, involving regular lifting. Daily duties may involve scanning barcodes, labeling packages, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining a clean and orderly dock area. Responsibilities:
- Process and document incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify quantities and accuracy of received goods.
- Prepare shipments for transport, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal departments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems and scanners.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
