What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead the design and execution of large-scale data science initiatives across teams Apply advanced statistical, optimization, and machine learning techniques to develop data-powered solutions Own the design and evaluation of experimentation for optimization systems Provide technical direction and mentorship to senior data scientists Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Game Studios to influence strategy and scope solutions
What is Required (Qualifications)
Masters degree or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering) 14+ years of industry experience in data science, experimentation, statistical modeling, and machine learning Proficient in Python and SQL; familiarity with big data tools and cloud computing platforms Strong systems thinking and the ability to define strategy while diving deep into code and analysis Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience partnering across various teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working with mobile gaming studios or player behavior modeling Familiarity with developing or maintaining experimentation platforms Knowledge of modern data orchestration and versioning tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, MLflow)
