We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of outgoing shipments. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, verifying shipment contents against orders, and coordinating with carriers for pick-ups. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency to support our overall logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure seamless outbound flow of goods. A key aspect of this role involves understanding shipping regulations and carrier requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all shipped items and preparing reports as needed. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a shipping or logistics-related role and a good understanding of warehouse operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and dedicated to exceeding expectations. Emphasis will be placed on adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be required.
