We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve inventory in high-rise racking systems. Your precision and adherence to safety standards are paramount to maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the efficiency of our operations. You will be performing tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating reach trucks, a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, and a strong commitment to safety. Experience with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. We pride ourselves on a culture of safety and operational excellence. All team members are required to strictly follow established safety procedures and wear the necessary PPE . This role requires dexterity and precision, and while the reach truck does much of the heavy lifting, you will still be involved in associated tasks that require some Lifting . Your expertise is a key component of our overall Logistics success, ensuring efficient product flow and accurate inventory placement. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and store materials.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently.
- Retrieve inventory from high racking systems.
- Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
