The Emerging Tech team is committed to solving challenges through new technology. We focus on creating groundbreaking capabilities, offering smooth experiences, and making advancements accessible to Walmart developers and over 2.2 million associates. Our work impacts hundreds of millions of customers daily. What You'll Do: Lead large-scale Mobile Engineering projects, collaborating with diverse teams to devise project strategies and develop sustainable mobile solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve mobile device issues, leveraging your expertise and coordinating with support teams. Guide project teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile engineering projects, addressing challenges and implementing architectural advancements. Innovate mobile technology solutions aligned with business goals, engaging with partners to identify opportunities and promote best practices. Oversee complex cross-functional projects, translating requirements into solutions for various operating systems and ensuring seamless user experiences. Execute business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, and removing barriers to optimize performance. Mentor and develop associates, fostering a supportive and diverse team environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and promote a culture of integrity and ethics. Evaluate ongoing initiatives, gathering feedback to enhance efficiency and community outreach. What You'll Bring: 12+ years of professional experience in mobile platform development (iOS and Android). 5+ years of hands-on coding experience in Swift and Kotlin. Experience in developing cross-platform spatial computing applications (AR/VR/MR). 3+ years of working with Apple's ARKit, RealityKit, and Vision frameworks. Experience building AR applications for iOS using RealityKit and ARKit. Experience with ARCore and Android AR SDKs. Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine frameworks. Strong foundation in 3D Math, Linear Algebra, and Animation techniques. Deep understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization. Proven ability to mentor engineers and oversee large technical projects. Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with Mixed Reality/Virtual Reality platforms like Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, HoloLens, and others. Familiarity with rendering engines such as Filament or three.js. Proficiency in 3D modeling tools like Maya or Blender. Experience in game development, 3D graphics, or interactive design is a plus. Exposure to cloud-connected AR experiences and spatial mapping technologies. About Walmart Global Tech:
