About the Role We are hiring a CRM Data Engineer with HubSpot and Salesforce experience to support the delivery of revenue operations and CRM projects. This role focuses on CRM and revenue data, working primarily within HubSpot and Salesforce rather than traditional product or platform data engineering. You will: Support senior RevOps Strategists and Solutions Architects on larger, more complex projects Take a lead delivery role on smaller projects, owning configuration, reporting, and customer communication This is a hands-on, customer-facing role. You will be expected to present solutions and reports, explain your approach clearly, and iterate on solutions based on customer and internal feedback. This role is designed as a development pathway into a Solutions Architect or RevOps Strategist position. This is a hybrid role and requires one day per week in our Bournemouth office, so applicants must be able to commute comfortably. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Ownership Support RevOps Strategists and Solutions Architects on large projects by implementing agreed CRM and data designs Take ownership of smaller projects, delivering solutions end to end Translate strategic requirements into clean, practical HubSpot and Salesforce implementations Manage your workload across multiple projects with guidance from senior team members CRM Data & SQL Use SQL to query, validate, and analyse CRM and revenue data Support data clean-up, transformation, and enrichment activities Assist with data synchronisation between HubSpot, Salesforce, and other systems Identify data quality issues and escalate complex problems where required HubSpot & Salesforce Configuration Build and maintain CRM configurations across HubSpot and Salesforce Support custom objects, properties, pipelines, and lifecycle models Build workflows and automation aligned to defined business processes Ensure data structures support reporting, forecasting, and scalability Integrations & Systems Support Support integrations between HubSpot, Salesforce, and third-party tools Assist with testing, monitoring, and documentation of integrations Work with APIs and integration tools under the guidance of senior team members Customer Engagement & Iteration Work directly with customers on smaller projects and defined workstreams Present solutions, dashboards, and reports to non-technical stakeholders Gather feedback and iterate on solutions to improve usability and business impact Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams Required Skills & Experience 2+ years experience working with CRM data in HubSpot and/or Salesforce Practical SQL experience used for reporting, data validation, or analysis Experience configuring CRM objects, workflows, and reports Comfortable in a customer-facing role, including presenting work and receiving feedback Able to work independently on smaller projects with support on larger engagements Experience supporting B2B marketing, sales, or customer success teams Nice to Have Experience working across both HubSpot and Salesforce Exposure to BI tools or data warehouses Familiarity with iPaaS tools such as Zapier, Make, Tray, or Workato HubSpot or Salesforce certifications Interest in revenue operations or go-to-market systems Salary, Benefits & Progression Salary & Benefits £35,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience Hybrid working with 1 day per week in the Bournemouth office Flexible working hours outside of office days Hands-on exposure to complex HubSpot and Salesforce environments Customer-facing work with real ownership and impact Training and certification support Supportive, collaborative, and highly technical team culture Clear Progression Path This role has a defined progression pathway into Solutions Architect and RevOps Strategist roles, where responsibilities expand into solution design, strategic advisory, and project leadership. CRM Data Engineer: £35,000 – £40,000 Solutions Architect / RevOps Strategist: up to £55,000, depending on experience and scope Progression is based on technical capability, customer-facing confidence, and the ability to translate business strategy into scalable system design.
