Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight and materials efficiently and safely while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driver's license and experience operating various types of heavy equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, professionalism, and operational excellence are prioritized.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic maintenance or repairs when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and other required documentation.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist with warehouse operations such as inventory management or equipment operation as needed.

Skills

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards across all operations. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 68 per week
