*Duties*
* Operate X-ray equipment to produce clear, accurate images of patients’ bones, tissues, and organs for diagnostic purposes
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety
* Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and facilitate diagnostic evaluation
* Document all procedures accurately in patient records, including technical details and observations
* Assist in emergency room settings or Level I trauma centers by providing rapid imaging support during urgent care situations
*Requirements*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required; additional certifications in nuclear medicine, mammography, DEXA scan, or sonography are highly desirable
* Proven experience with diagnostic radiology procedures in emergency room environments or Level II trauma centers
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
* Hands-on experience with advanced imaging modalities such as PET scan, CT, mammography, DEXA scan, and nuclear medicine procedures
* Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and Level I trauma center operations is a significant plus
* Strong understanding of aseptic technique and radiation safety standards to ensure optimal patient care and safety
* Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and collaborate effectively with medical teams

Pay: $26.44 - $31.84 per hour
