Technical Software Business Analyst - 3D Software Role and Reporting

As a Technical Software Business Analyst specializing in 3D software, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into clear and actionable specifications for our Design, Development, and Quality Assurance teams. You will be a key decision maker for managing scope and creating optimal solutions based on the platform roadmap and priorities. Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Software Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers to define scope and associated effort of proposed features Elicit, document, analyze, and track business requirements from stakeholders Facilitate cross-functional solutioning sessions Translate business requirements into user stories ensuring clarity, accuracy, and testability Facilitate user story grooming sessions with UX Designers, Developers and QA Analysts to refine articulation of acceptance criteria and technical requirements related to 3D CAD-like software applications Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business goals, user experience, and technical implementation Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure mutual understanding and successful delivery of features Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, while working to mitigate them Participate in continuously evaluating and improving internal processes and methods Develop a deep understanding of the application components and become a subject matter expert on the features and workflows
Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and ten or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or Software Business Analyst Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards)
Additional qualifications
Proven ability to deliver in large-scale, complex environments involving multiple stakeholders, multi-scrum teams, and multi-platform features requiring coordinated releases Proven experience as a Software Business Analyst in the software industry, with a focus on 3D software applications Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of 3D modeling and rendering with an understanding of curvature, planes, lines, points, projections, and intersections Proficient in translating intricate 3D technical or visual functionalities into comprehensive and testable acceptance criteria
Additional qualifications that would help you succeed
Experience in Orthodontics or Dentistry Self-starter with a high level of initiative desiring to be a member of a High Performing Team in a complex working environment Experience or skills in Project Management Experience in Healthcare or other regulated industry Experience with BDD/Gherkin Acceptance Criteria format Experience in Azure DevOps (Boards) Very strong organizational skills with attention to detail Experience working in a hybrid Agile-like methodology requiring coordinated releases

The expected compensation range for this position is $107,600 - $147,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
