Application Analyst II Imaging Services at
Luminis Health . Department: Ambulatory IS. Reports To: 10000-50034-001808. Cost Center/Job Code: 10000-50034-001911. FLSA Status: Exempt. Position Objective
Owns tasks to completion once accepted. Executes tasks with a commitment to customer happiness and goals in mind; follow up happens. Demonstrates commitment to care for customers, patients and peers. Collaborates with others effectively and contributes to positive morale and teamwork using cultural sensitivity; builds strong, positive professional relationships with customers and coworkers. Manages complex relationships between changes and downstream systems and workflows; seeks opportunities to expand knowledge of systems supported and business processes. Essential Job Duties Serves as an imaging integration specialist focusing on DICOM-based imaging systems and processes using technologies such as Epic Radiant, PACS and various modalities. Acts as a liaison between information systems and the organization; translates business problems into information requirements and system/workflow recommendations. Functions as builder and project facilitator, evaluating and acquiring resources for timely project completion. Responsibilities include customer support, analysis, modification, programming, building and testing. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight; primarily focused on independent project management and completing position objectives.
Educational/Experience Requirements
Required Minimum Education Bachelors Degree or higher preferred
Required Minimum Experience 3 years experience in information systems with client/server applications, programming or applications analysis, or equivalent (e.g., business analysis). 1 year project management experience.
Required Licenses/Certifications Must obtain Epic certification in one or more modules within area of support (when appropriate).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong working knowledge of application systems, PACS and analyst tools.
Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; may require extended or off-schedule work hours during upgrades and go-lives. May be exposed to blood-borne pathogens depending on assignment. Pay Range
