Principal Software Engineering Manager

Responsibilities Define and drive the roadmap for business process automation ensuring alignment with security and compliance requirements Own the full life cycle development of business process automation and its corresponding data analytics solutions on Microsoft's Azure Intelligent Cloud platform These solutions will be core to driving efficiency in how we launch our products and improve the decision making process of our internal teams Make executive connections with key stakeholders and work with them to determine the scope of business process automation Commit to a customer and/or stakeholder-oriented focus, lead discussions and develop insights and recommendations Drive the implementation of methods that create durability & efficiency in core work related to scalable business process automation efforts using Microsoft CoPilot Studio Lead and coach your team to conduct thorough reviews of architecture to produce secure, extensible and maintainable code on Azure Intelligent Cloud platform Coach your team to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders Seek new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale and shares knowledge with other engineers Foster an inclusive team culture that prioritizes psychological safety, diversity of thought, and career growth through coaching and succession planning Provide technical direction for scalable, secure architectures and champion innovation using AI/ML to advance automation capabilities Other

Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience
4+ years people management experience Solid understanding of project management principles Working knowledge of cloud data engineering, preferably Azure Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
