As Solutions Design Manager you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge transport and warehouse solutions that deliver tangible value, efficiency, and sustainability for our diverse portfolio of clients.
As part of your key responsibilities youll:
Analyse customer requirements and operational data to design robust, cost-effective, and innovative transport and distribution solutions. This includes network modelling, fleet optimisation, and the integration of new technologies. Utilise your strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and model various scenarios to inform your proposed solutions. Develop detailed cost models and compelling commercial proposals for new and existing clients, ensuring solutions are financially viable and deliver a strong return on investment. Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including business development teams, operations managers, and clients, to understand their needs and ensure the successful implementation of your designs. Proactively identify opportunities to optimise existing operations, drive efficiencies, and enhance service levels in line with the principles of "The Unipart Way." Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in transport and warehouse to ensure Unipart remains at the forefront of the industry. Provide expert support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation and post-launch review.
About You

Strong understanding and experience with Logistics & Supply Chain operations and considered an SME in Transport operations Committed to self-development and team development 3PL experience advantageous Adaptable to change Quality focused Clear communication skills Commercial awareness A problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
