Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Manage and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring data integrity.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics.
- Ensure the proper handling, storage, and organization of all inventory items.
- Enforce all warehouse Safety rules and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Train and guide warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 25 lbs, as needed.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
