Then become part of our agile, interdisciplinary team - design and optimize the WEB.DE/GMX homepage and NEWS websites from the user's perspective. You will work closely and in constant dialogue with product management and the WEB.DE/GMX online editorial team.
- Take responsibility: You are the driving force behind the UX and the look & feel of our homepage and news offerings.
- Bring ideas to life: Visualize UX concepts with mockups, user flows and interactive prototypes using our Figma design system.
- Keep your finger on the pulse: Research relevant trends and conduct competitive analyses to keep us up to date.
- Strengthen user research: Plan, conduct and analyze qualitative and quantitative user tests. Use the findings to improve our user journey.
- Push product development ahead: Plan and lead workshops to develop ideas for new, innovative products and optimize existing ones with the team.
Are you a young professional or do you already have several years of experience in UX design? Are you passionate about designing and developing the best possible user experience? Then we look forward to receiving your application. We are particularly interested in this:
- Team player: you thrive in an agile, interdisciplinary environment and communicate openly and positively with an international team in English - knowledge of German (B1) is an advantage.
- Education: You have a degree in media design, information design, interactive media design or a comparable education.
- Proven experience: You have relevant experience in the conception of user interaction and visual design for responsive web services and digital products. You are familiar with common design and prototyping tools (Figma) as well as lean user research methods.
- Enthusiasm for learning: You like to learn new things, follow current trends in UX/UI design and enjoy trying out new creative methods, frameworks and tools.
- Workshop facilitator: You have initial experience in the conception and implementation of workshops (remote or on-site) on design thinking, design sprints, etc. (e.g. with MIRO).
