We will accomplish together Project Manager - High Voltage Electricity We will accomplish together The Engineering Solutions and Projects activity offers innovative engineering solutions for the renewal and development of networks and SIG facilities, as well as new solutions related to the City, Districts, and Smart Buildings in a multi-fluid and smart approach. It ensures the management of engineering projects whether internal or external, guaranteeing deadlines, costs, quality, and risk management throughout the process. As the Project Manager for high voltage electricity (HT), you will be responsible for the design and studies of part of the electrical works and/or the monitoring of the corresponding works for infrastructure projects related to the transport and distribution of electricity (HT/MT substations, underground and aerial HT lines, underground MT lines, etc.). Your energy at the service of a sustainable Geneva As the HT Project Manager, your main missions will be as follows: - During the study and construction phases, ensure the general management of the various internal and external contributors to SIG (engineering offices, architects, companies, etc.), direct and monitor the works, as well as receive the completed works; - During the study phase, conduct part of the studies of the projected works along with the corresponding overall estimate, tender documents, and offers analysis; - Ensure project and corresponding risk management to guarantee costs, quality, and deadlines; - Take responsibility for the financial and technical management of the projects assigned to you; - Report project progress to the client and maintain communication with the various project stakeholders, internally and externally to SIG; - Prepare various requests for the regulatory and oversight bodies regarding electrical works; - Write reports and necessary documents for investment decision-making, specifications based on your expertise, and evaluate technical solutions; - Contribute to the efficiency of the unit by engaging in technological monitoring and suggesting particular techniques or technologies. Your personality and skills With an excellent mastery of engineering in HT/MT electricity, you also possess a good knowledge of their auxiliary systems and the constraints related to their operation and maintenance. You are proficient in standard and dedicated tools (project management software, financial management of lots). You have a taste for and the skills to conduct studies as well as to monitor construction works of electrical infrastructures. You understand financial management and project investment risk management. You are capable of writing complex quality documents (project reports, study reports, specifications, etc.) in a rigorous, structured, and comprehensible manner. You demonstrate a methodical mindset, team spirit, and adaptability. You know how to negotiate, convince, and build relationships. Your background: With an engineering degree or an equivalent qualification, you have over 5 years of professional experience in managing engineering projects in HT/MT electricity; Knowledge of Swiss standards and regulations in the field (IEC, OICF, etc.), electric safety standards, and occupational safety (SUVA) is a solid plus; Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking), knowledge of German is an advantage.
