*Job Description:*
As a speech language pathologist at Better Days Therapies, you will play a vital role in helping children achieve their communication goals by targeting speech and language interventions using the child-led approach. You will collaborate closely with a supportive team of professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language and communication disorders. Your expertise will contribute to creating personalized therapy plans and providing interventions that empower children and their families. Better Days Therapies believes in treating patients throughout the lifespan regardless of age or diagnosis giving you the opportunity to work with adults if interested!
*Key Responsibilities: *
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
* Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
* Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote speech clarity, language development, and communication proficiency.
* Foster collaborative relationships with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic care.
* Monitor progress, adjust therapy strategies as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions.
*Qualifications: *
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CF is acceptable.
* State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
* Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
* Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
