The Inside Sales Representative will represent and sell the most extensive selection of trusted high-performance alloys, a solution-oriented strategy, and an unmatched commitment to our customers that result in continued long-term customer relationships. The Inside Sales Representative acts as the internal first line contact for assigned customer accounts. They are self-directed and responsible for general and specific tasks related to the effective execution and support of sales processes through account management and data analyzation. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent; BS/BA or equivalent years of experience Experience: 1-5 years of inside sales or related experience Areas of Knowledge: Business, Marketing, Sales or related area; Business Math, Metallurgy and Product Specifications knowledge. Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel, Advanced Communication Skills, Organizational Skills, Problem Solving, Multitasking, Data Analysis, Critical Thinking Skills, Customer Service, Domestic and International Sales, Logistics, Pricing Cut Parts, Inventory, Understanding of US trade and export regulations, and Incoterms. Ability to work onsite. Responsibilities: Receive and process requests for quotations, orders and all other sales-related customer inquiries. Respond timely to requests via all modes of communication. Manage pricing strategies, specifications and certifications for quotes and orders. Coordinate with credit department for new account establishment and collections as well as creating proper documentation in the event of a return. Manage customer information to include RMA's, non-standards request in Creatio (CRM). Screen all new customers through the Altana database and collaborate with legal as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of value-added services offered and correct pricing procedures and guidelines. Proactively market and sell Haynes' value-added capabilities as well as complimentary products. Follow up quotes, gather and communicate pricing and delivery information. Manage customer portals for demand, quote requests, and corrective actions. Enter orders immediately upon receipt, accurately per QCI and SOP requirements. Provide customers with regular updates and manage communications with customers on deviant products or late orders. Be proactive to ensure that commitments to the customer are made in a timely fashion. Follow open orders from entry through shipment. Coordinate with shipping departments and freight forwarders when required. Resolve customer concerns in a timely and cost-effective manner (RMA returns, non-conformances). Communicate and support the Field Reps on quote follow-up and customer strategies. Collaborate with Marketing Group to provide account information to support data analytics Provide input on stock for contracts and LTA's; work with finish goods department to help maintain proper stock levels. Collaborate with marketing, credit, and field sales and other business functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience
