Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $111,100.00/Yr. - USD $185,100.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description
The Systems Administrator provides seniorlevel system administration, integration, and sustainment support for missioncritical applications and systems supporting NIWC Atlantic's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) P3 Ground Support Stations. This role performs installation, upgrades, daily operations, backups, troubleshooting, and lifecycle maintenance across virtualized environments, physical servers, storage systems, and specialized mission applications. Work is performed with minimal supervision and requires advanced technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to support international customers and engineering teams. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for: Supporting system administration for P3 Ground Support mission systems, including lab environments and operational sites
Assisting engineering teams during software integration, testing, PITCO, SOVT, and installation events Providing troubleshooting and technical support for hardware/software discrepancies identified during installation or via the ISS Help Desk Supporting secure system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and RMFaligned hardening activities Participating in technical meetings with NIWC Atlantic, NAVAIR, OEMs, and international partners FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-SF1
Requirements
Twoyear technical degree and seven plus years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with extensive handson expertise in P-3 foreign military support, including postmission analysis, tactical ground support systems, and acoustic/tactical software applications Proven systems administrator expert in P3 tactical systems, including TASS, MARS, AMS, ISR, ULS, and related MPRA analysis tools Demonstrated success supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, including international site installations, system integration, and network administration training for partner nations Develop, implement, and promote standard IT procedures and documentation Perform complex software installations, updates, and patching to ensure system availability and security Conduct daily operational maintenance, including system monitoring, alarm response, and verification of scheduled backups in accordance with policies Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical and international stakeholders Detailoriented and highly organized, with a track record of managing schedules, coordinating installations, and supporting hightempo operational environments Must possess a DoD secret clearance

Supporting DoD systems, P-3 FMS Sustainment efforts, secure environments, or missioncritical operations Managing and maintaining Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies Providing user support for enterprise applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Symantec Enterprise Vault Recommending hardware, software, and infrastructure improvements to ensure system integrity and availability Evaluating vendor products and technologies for modernization initiatives Providing redline updates, configuration tracking, and support for system documentation packages

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
