Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, demonstrating strong food and beverage knowledge, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality, food service, and creating memorable dining moments. Prior restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings, is highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems including Cash handling and cashiering functions
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Previous experience in fine dining or nightlife settings is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
• Food handling and food preparation knowledge beneficial for understanding menu components
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests professionally
• Flexibility to work nights or weekends if required; experience in serving at nightclubs or similar venues is advantageous

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
