Our goal is to support each child's early growth while partnering closely with families. We are currently seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our Infants Classroom team.

Position Overview

The Assistant Teacher – Infants Classroom supports the Lead Teacher in providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for infants. This role focuses on meeting the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of children from birth to approximately 12 months. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

-Classroom Support & Care

-Development & Observation

-Health, Safety & Supervision

-Family & Team Collaboration

-Classroom Maintenance

-Ensure constant supervision of infants at all times

-Follow Arizona health, safety, and sanitation regulations

-Maintain cleanliness of classroom materials, toys, and care areas

-Assist with nap schedules and feeding routines

QualificationsExperience & Skills

• Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred
• Knowledge of infant development and caregiving best practices
• Calm, nurturing, and dependable demeanor
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow routines and support classroom structure

Clearance & Certifications

• Current Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current Maricopa County Food Handlers Card
• Negative TB test within the last year
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications

Additional Requirement

• High School Diploma or equivalent
