As the Event Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with both the client and your team to ensure the smooth flow of operations, making effective communication an essential skill. Your ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously will be crucial, as you may find yourself setting up tables before an event, addressing client requests, preparing upcoming events, communicating with staff, and overseeing post-event cleanup services.

Duties & Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Banquet/Catering Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and providing recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to the General Manager.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
- Assist clients with any problems or special requests to ensure the best personal service to meet guests' needs.
- Ensure that banquet/catering equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis while you keep all banquet/catering facilities cleaned, vacuumed and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume.
- Record deposits, forward checks to accounting and coordinate billing and Credit approval for Banquet/Catering clients.
- Responsible for promoting, planning, coordinating, and supervising the execution of all event functions ensuring a top-notch dining experience.
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding the monthly and annual revenue targets by generating brand-new and repeat business through referrals, telephone solicitation, direct mail, outside sales calls, networking and other community marketing techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

- Associates degree (A.A.) from an accredited college or university; or minimum of four years previous supervisory experience; or combination of education and experience combined.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Previous experience in Food & Beverage is required.
- Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
- Excellent motivational, communication and customer service skills required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
