Job Title: Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Company: TilloHealth, a division of Tillotek Staffing Solutions

Pay Range: $18-23 per hour based on experience and shift differential.

Shifts/Hours: 1st (6AM-2PM), 2nd (2PM-10PM), and 3rd (10PM-6AM) shifts may be available depending on time of application

Employment Type: Contract / Temporary

Job Summary:

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at TilloHealth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a nurse. CMAs are responsible for maintaining accurate medication records and providing support in activities of daily living for residents. Join our team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and accurately record the administration of medications as prescribed by a resident's physician(s) in accordance with company policy and applicable state and federal guidelines under supervision of a nurse.
  • Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs.
  • Manage the supply of medications.
  • Provide accounting for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  • Aid in daily tasks such as housekeeping, use of telephone, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
  • Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
  • Assist in dining including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up.
  • Qualifications:

  • Must be certified as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and meet the state's specific certification requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will be caring, organized, and able to multi-task.
  • Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting is preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and other associates in English.
