As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in receiving and unloading shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing goods for dispatch. You will utilize various warehouse equipment and systems to manage inventory and fulfill orders accurately. This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds and requires a strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications using scanners and pick lists.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Contribute to team efforts and overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
