This role is fundamental to our efficient logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks within the warehouse. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will contribute to the receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse management systems.
- Commitment to safety and the use of required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
