We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our busy warehouse in Tampa, Florida! This role is fundamental to maintaining the precision and efficiency of our inventory management system, a critical component of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting thorough cycle counts, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and meticulously updating inventory records. Working closely with our warehouse and logistics teams, you will help ensure that our stock is managed effectively. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies or variances.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with the receiving and put-away processes to ensure correct stock placement.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and potential issues.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Support the logistics team in managing inventory effectively.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in full physical inventory counts as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and standard office applications.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach to data.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and PPE.
