We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our busy logistics facility in Los Angeles, California. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will utilize scanning devices and follow established procedures to retrieve items and prepare them for dispatch. This role demands physical stamina, focus, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or paper pick lists.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
- Retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Ensure correct labels and shipping documentation are applied.
- Transport finished orders to the shipping dock or designated area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE at all times.
- Meet performance standards for picking and packing speed and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning systems.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Must be physically capable of performing tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Dedication to adhering to all safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
